Inclusive Hiking by Blind Rocks!

Kathmandu May 29  An inclusive hiking was organized by Blind Rocks!  on May 24 Saturday. Even the hail stone and heavy rainfall couldn’t stop 17 to reach hiking destiny Phulchoki, the highest peak of Kathmandu valley. It was indeed a life experience journey along with the fun games and interaction with dynamic personalities. Some of them were blind and visually impaired and other were volunteer. It was very adventurous, exciting despite we all were dead tired after having a walk of 11 hours.

Blind Rocks believe in boosting the confident level of blind and helped them to trust in their abilities. More over the journey also taught them a team work and cooperation among one another. To put into a situation where a mistake cannot necessarily be Bind Rocks program and group photo session recouped, problems getting back into proportion and adds an element of seriousness to your drab, routine life. people are facing problems for their effective mobility. They have to struggle every day for their easy movement due to underdeveloped road structure. To spread the message that one should have “right to
mobility” this hiking (with blind and partially sighted people) has been a milestone .Everyone should not lose desire to walk Shristi Kc president of Blind Rock is  sharing her experience with Blind and partially sighted after inclusive hiking .
